Bridge inspection to slow traffic on Boler, Sanatorium roads

Drivers can expect delays on the Byron Bridge for the next two days.

The City of London will be doing bridge inspections on the structure above the Thames River between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. The bridge joins Sanatorium Road to Boler Road and Halls Mill Road in southwest London.

While the work is being conducted the bridge will be reduced to a single lane. Traffic will be alternated across.

The northbound lane on the east side will be closed first, with traffic alternating in the southbound lane. Once that is completed, inspectors will move to the southbound lanes. Traffic will then be alternated across the northbound lanes.

Pedestrian access to the bridge will remain open during the inspection.
