Damage is estimated at $750,000 after fire broke out in the basement of a home in south London.
Firefighters were called to the home at 6356 Decker Drive just west of Wonderland Road South around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. As there are no fire hydrants near the home, water to fight the blaze had to be supplied by tanker trucks.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators will be working to determine the origin, cause, and circumstances of the blaze, the London Fire Department said in a post on X - the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The Decker Road fire came just over an hour after a blaze at a three-storey walk-up on King Edward Avenue. In that incident, the fire was contained to a first floor unit, causing $75,000 damage.
