St. Thomas police have arrested a 31-year-old man following a report of inappropriate physical contact.
Police said an investigation began on Tuesday, following the report, and an arrest was made on Thursday.
Donald Pettit, 31, of St. Thomas has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
According to police, the victim and the accused did not know each other and it's believed that there may be additional victims.
"We are actively seeking potential victims who may have had encounters with Donald Pettit," police said in a release.
