City looking for award nominees

London is asking for award nominations of those who make the city a more welcoming inclusive place.

The Diversity, Race Relations, and Inclusivity Award encourages these attributes within the city and makes London feel more welcoming.

Small and large businesses, public and private institutions, not-for-profit organizations, and youth groups and organizations, that have been operating in London for at least a year, are all eligible for the DRRI award.

Some nomination criteria include:

• How the initiative has contributed to the promotion of diversity, race relations, inclusivity, and human rights in London

• The short and long-term impacts of the initiative

• The potential for expansion and/or inspiration for replication of the initiative

• How winning this award can be used to further promote diversity, race relations, inclusivity, and human rights in London

A maximum of five awards can be given every year.

In 2022, Jess Jones Recreation Therapy Inc., Amazon Delivery Station, ATN Access Inc., and Airshow London received the award.

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, October 3, 2023, by 9:00 a.m.
