Police in Woodstock have charged three men after officers turned up nearly $30,000 in illegal substances.
At around 5:20 a.m. Thursday, members of the Woodstock Police Service Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Community Response Unit and the London Police Service Emergency Response Unit, executed a warrant as part of an ongoing probe.
During their search, police located just under $5,300 in cash, and more than $29,000 street value worth of drugs.
Three men, a 45-year-old from Woodstock and two 23-year-olds, one from Mississauga and the other from Toronto, were arrested Thursday.
The accused men each face four counts of possession of a Schedule I substance, including fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin. They’re also charged with possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000.
The three remain in custody.
