Water in a small Oxford County town is once again safe to drink.
Southwestern Public Health rescinded its boil water advisory for the Town of Drumbo late Tuesday afternoon.
The advisory was put in place Sunday after the local water treatment facility lost pressure. At the time, public health officials said it was a precaution in case of any potential contamination of the drinking water.
"Recent water samples have been taken with satisfactory results," the health unit said in ending the call to boil water.
Public health officials added that residents should run their taps for five minutes to flush them out before resuming regular consumption.
