A second teenager involved in a two-vehicle crash north of London over the weekend has died from their injuries.
Middlesex OPP confirmed the death of the 17-year-old driver on Monday.
The car the teen was driving collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Ilderton Road and Wonderland Road North in Middlesex Centre shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. A 17-year-old passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital where one later died, police said.
Ilderton Road between Willow Ridge Road and Richmond Street and Wonderland Road North between 10 Mile Road and 12 Mile Road were closed for several hours as police investigated the cause of the crash. All roads have since reopened.
