A 47-year-old man has been charged after a weapons complaint was made in the area of Clarke Road and Dundas Street.
According to police, a security guard called 9-1-1 around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, to report a man entering a business with a gun case.
"Police arrived and located the male still inside the business. The suspect was arrested, and no injuries were reported," police said.
Police confirmed that when officers searched the man, the weapon inside the case was found to be a pellet gun. Drugs were also reported to be in the suspect's possession.
After his arrest, police determined the suspect was also wanted on outstanding warrants.
A London man has been charged with offences that include failing to comply with a release order, a breach of recognizance, and the possession of a schedule I substance.
