A 24-year-old faces charges for voyeurism and possessing child pornography following an investigation by members of London's Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.
In March of this year, police seized and analyzed a Fergus man's phone where they reportedly found images of suspected child pornography.
A second search warrant was obtained in relation to the same phone, and more files of suspected child pornography were found. More than 200 voyeuristic videos featuring adults were also found, police said.
The videos appeared to be recorded without the knowledge of the victims, in public places around London, including clothing stores and fitness centers.
The Fergus man is expected to appear in London court on August 30, 2023, in relation to the charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
