Search continues for Bayham man missing for over a year

Provincial police are renewing calls for help finding a Bayham man who has been missing for more than a year.

Roger William Chretien has not been seen since June 16, 2022. He was reported missing to Elgin OPP ten days later when family and friends were unable to locate him at his home on Lakeshore Line in Port Burwell.

Officers with the canine unit and emergency response team searched the Lakeshore Line area with the help of a drone following the 54-year-old's disappearance with negative results.

The search for Chretien has been ongoing ever since then, but efforts to find him have continued to be unsuccessful.

On Thursday, police again asked the public for assistance, encouraging anyone with information about Chretien's whereabouts to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Chretien is described as White male, 6"1', approximately 150 lbs, with a slim build, blue eyes, and long red coloured hair.
