Drug trafficking charges have been laid against two women and a man after London police seized over $105,000 worth of fentanyl, crystal meth, and morphine from two homes in the city.
Officers with the guns and gangs section, emergency response unit, canine unit, and uniformed division, raided a home on Cherryhill Place and a unit on York Street on Tuesday. The two searches turned up 351 grams of fentanyl, 22 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 1,992 Dilaudid pills, and 68 Hydromorphone pills. The drugs are valued at $105,276, police said.
Four digital scales and a "large quantity" of bundled bulk Canadian currency was also seized.
Three London residents were arrested.
A 36-year-old man has been charged with six counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Two women, aged 33 and 44, have been charged with three counts each of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The London man appeared in court in relation to the charges on Tuesday, while the women charged are scheduled to be in court on March 3.
