London police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a pair of break-ins near Western University.
Marouane Zatouf, 33, of London has been charged by way of warrant with two counts of break and enter and theft, and one count each of trespassing at night, mischief under $5,000, and failure to comply with a release order.
The charges stem from three separate incidents on Saturday. The first happened at a residence on University Crescent where someone broke into the home and stole multiple items. Around 6 a.m. on the same day, police received a report of a man looking into windows at a home on Patricia Street. The man was captured on video surveillance before he damaged the camera, police said.
Another home on the same street was broken into 20 minutes later. Several items were removed from the home. This break-in was also caught on video surveillance, police said.
Officers investigating the three incidents ended up searching a south-end home on Monday, where they found several stolen items.
Zatouf has yet to be arrested. Police have released his photo in hopes the public can help locate him.
