Residential garbage and recycling will not be picked up on Friday or Monday and mail service will resume again on Tuesday. The London Transit Commission will operate buses on a Sunday schedule on Friday.

London Public Library branches will also be closed on Friday, Sunday, and Monday, but will be open for regular hours on Saturday.

The Middlesex London Health Unit also announced reduced hours for vaccine clinics over the holiday weekend.

Vaccine clinics at the Western Fair District Agriplex, White Oaks Mall and Caradoc Community Centre in Mt. Brydges will be closed for most of the weekend. Those hoping to get vaccinated will have an opportunity to roll up their sleeves on Saturday. The Agriplex will be open April 16 for walk-ins between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m, while the clinic at White Oaks Mall will be open for walk-ins from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Sherwood Forest Mall location at 1225 Wonderland Road North and Byron location at 1224 Commissioners Road West will be open both Friday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The 510 Hamilton Road location will also be available during the same hours on Friday, but will be closed on Sunday.

Those looking for something to do over the Easter holidays will have a few activities to choose from.

Dog parents can also participate in an egg hunt with the National Service Dogs’ organization at Plunkett Estate on Good Friday. Those interested can register for the event online. Other events over the weekend include an outdoor Easter Market at the Convent Garden Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
