London Police seek information after medical distress call

London Police are looking for answers after attending a call in north London where a female was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.

Police report that shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to the rear of a school near Hastings Drive and Chambers Avenue. The closest school to the location is Jack Chambers Public School.

Officers say they located a female at the scene who was transported to hospital by Middlesex-London Paramedic Services, and later pronounced dead.

The Major Crime Section is investigating this incident along with the Coroners Service, according to police. They say the investigation is still in its early stages and they have not yet ruled a manner or cause of death.

"We are requesting that anyone who may have seen this female, or anyone who has security cameras that may capture this area, contact [us]," said a statement from the London Police.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
