Two London trustees have been named chair and vice-chair of the Thames Valley District school board.
Lori-Ann Pizzolato was re-elected chair at Tuesday night's board meeting. She has held the role of chair since June 2021.
"I’m honoured and excited to be returning as chair of the Thames Valley District school board,” said Pizzolato. “I remain committed to working with my colleagues to promote achievement, well-being, equity and inclusivity for all students. I look forward to continuing to build on the strengths of returning Trustees while learning about the strengths of the newly elected Trustees.”
Pizzolato is currently serving her second term as trustee for London wards 1, 11, 12, and 14.
At the same meeting, first-term London Trustee Beth Mai was elected as vice-chair. She represents wards 7,8,9,10, and 13 and has been actively involved with the school board for more than 22 years as an employee and volunteer.
