An elderly man has unfortunately passed away after the vehicle he was driving veered off the road and crashed late Tuesday morning.
At around 10:55 a.m. emergency crews in Oxford County were called about a single-vehicle collision on County Road 199 in Zorra Township. Investigators determined the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, an 87-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he later died.
Officers closed the area for around six hours while police investigated and the scene was cleared.
