Suspect sought in east London stabbing

Police have identified a London man wanted after another man was stabbed in the city's east end last week.

The incident happened Sunday night at around 10:45 p.m. on McNay Street between Rock Street and Victoria Drive, according to London police.

Officers arrived on scene to find a man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to hospital where he remains as of Thursday afternoon.

Investigators have since identified a suspect accused of stabbing the victim. The accused, identified as 47-year-old Michael James Post of London, is charged by way of warrant with one count of aggravated assault.

The public is asked to not approach Post if he is seen. Instead, call 911.
