Provincial police are searching for a suspect after a home invasion southwest of St. Thomas.
A man showed up to a home on Talbot Line in Southwold Township just before 7 p.m. Monday and confronted the homeowner.
The man took various items from the property and then left in a vehicle headed in an unknown direction, Elgin OPP said.
No injuries were reported.
Police are now searching for a man described as white with short hair. He was wearing a face covering and a baseball hat.
