Ride-share driver charged with propositioning teens arrested again

A former London ride-share driver who is accused of offering teenage fares money in exchange for sexual services has been arrested a second time.

London police were called on Saturday after the man allegedly turned up at the workplace of one of the girls involved in the original incident late last month.

It was just after midnight on June 24 when five teens requested the ride in the north end of the city through the ride-sharing company. While on the way to their destination, the man driving the vehicle began chatting with the teens and eventually offered them cash in exchange for sexual service, police said. The girls were dropped off without further incident. However, the following day, the driver allegedly called two of the girls and again offered them money for sexual services. None of the girls were physically hurt.

Bradley William Turner, 55, of London was arrested and charged with three counts each of obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under 18 years of age and invitation to sexual touching of a person under 16 years of age.

Turner was arrested again on Saturday and now faces an additional charge of failing to comply with release order. He is scheduled to appear in London court on August 4.

Police did not identify the ride-sharing service involved. However, Uber confirmed the man had driven for the company and was terminated once it was informed of the charges against him.
