More than $250K damage done in house fire

The London Fire Department (LFD) responded to a fire on Guildford Crescent early Sunday morning.

LFD credited working smoke alarms with keeping one person from being injured, however, the three pets in the home all died in the fire.

The damage done to the home was estimated to be worth more than $250,000.

The investigation into the fire's origin is ongoing.
