A grieving family is getting help from the community in the wake of a devastating hit and run crash.
The man's niece wrote, "Hi, my name is Tayla. Last night at 9:30 my uncle, a brother, a cousin, a friend, and most importantly a dad of 3 young girls got killed in a hit and run. He left behind 7 sisters, a bunch of close cousins and friends, nephews and nieces, and 3 young daughters. The point of this fundraiser is to raise money for these 3 girls to raise for any school funds and help with the funeral and any other expenses. Please… Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou."
London Police are investigating a hit and run involving a silver 2022 Volkswagen Passat.
Investigators said Rouen was walking in the area of Adelaide Street and Nelson Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday when he was struck. He later died in hospital. Family members have since confirmed that Roeun, who was 38, was the person killed.
The vehicle has been located, but there's no word on charges at this point.
“The driver is still outstanding at this time, but the investigation continues,” police said.
