A man from the Toronto region is facing a list of charges after an investigation into a sexual assault in Oxford County.
Few details of the investigation have been released, but Oxford County OPP say Zubair Tanhim, 28, of Whitby is charged with sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age, luring a person under 14 years of age by means of telecommunication, and possession of child pornography.
"The accused is being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock," police said.
