Industry leaders from around the province are expected to attend the first annual CannabisWiki Conference and Expo at the Western Fair District this spring.
The two-day conference, hosted by the news and information resource for the cannabis community, will feature panels on a variety of cannabis-related topics, innovative exhibitor booths and networking opportunities. Themes discussed will include sustainability of the industry, barriers to entry and sustained success for licenced producers, stigma and solutions and more.
"The CannabisWiki partnership with the Western Fair District is a milestone in the evolution of our industry and will be one of the most important signs to the country that we can work together to bring economic recovery, advance support for medical patients and safe recreational cannabis to our communities," said Barry Davidson, the event's MC.
Fanshawe College’s Centre for Research and Innovation will also be in attendance to host a Cannabis Research Symposium which will focus on how researchers can learn from industry and how Fanshawe can best support the cannabis industry as it brings new products to market.
