London police are again turning to the public for help as they investigate the cause of a fatal crash in the south end of the city.
Police are now asking anyone who may have dash-cam video or security footage of the area of Southdale Road between Wharncliffe Road and Wellington Road at around 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2022. That's when two vehicles collided at Southdale and Nixon Avenue. The collision claimed the life of one of the drivers, a 36-year-old woman, and left the other in hospital. As of January 18, police say the 22-year-old man is still in critical condition
"Investigators are interested in reviewing video which may have captured the collision itself, and/or the events leading up to, or immediately thereafter," police said.
The name of the woman who died in the collision is not being released at the request of her family.
