Update: missing woman found

Update: London police announced on Friday afternoon that Lois Blackburn has been found and is safe.

London police are asking for the public's help locating a missing London woman.

Lois Blackburn, 63, was reported missing Thursday morning. According to police, she was last seen in the area of Plank Line and Duffy Line in Mount Elgin.

Blackburn is described as Black, approximately 5’2, with short, blonde hair and glasses. She may be traveling in a 2004, grey, Honda Accord ULX, with Ontario licence plate CPVV 370. A small Pomeranian dog may also be with the 63-year-old woman.

Both family and police are concerned for Blackburn's well-being.

Anyone with information about Blackburn's whereabouts is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
