Three people accused of crashing a stolen vehicle northwest of London at the start of the week have now been charged with multiple offences.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle crash on Ilderton Road in Middlesex Centre around 5:40 a.m. on Monday.
Three people from inside the vehicle took off when Middlesex OPP officers arrived. One was arrested nearby with the help of the canine unit. Two other suspects were arrested at a townhouse complex on Viscount Road in London. Several officers from the OPP and London police were involved in the arrest.
No one was injured during the incident.
A 26-year-old woman, of no fixed address, a 41-year-old London man, and a 35 year-old Ingersoll man are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments.
The woman and London man are additionally charged with taking a vehicle without consent, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of drugs.
The Ingersoll man is also charged with operating a vehicle while prohibited, and failure to complete with probation order.
