A single-vehicle crash in west London has claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
At around 8:20 p.m. on Monday, London police were called to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Springbank Drive and Horton Street.
Paramedics arrived and took an adult male driver to hospital with critical injuries. Police confirmed the man later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Springbank Drive between Duke Street and Wharncliffe Road was closed for several hours while police investigated and cleared the scene. It was reopened Tuesday morning.
The name and age of the deceased have not been released. The investigation remains is in its early stages, police said.
