Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Middlesex County say one person died in a crash near Melbourne on Saturday.
Emergency crews responded to an area on Melbourne Road around 6:45 a.m. for a motorcycle crash.
The driver, Chad Gardiner, 47, of Dutton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Melbourne Road was closed for five hours while investigators surveyed the area. The road was reopened just before 1 p.m.
