(BlackburnNews.com file photo)A 14-year-old had to be airlifted to hospital after a dirt bike collided with a tree north of Simcoe.
Emergency crews were called to the crash on a property on Norfolk County 19 West in Windham just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Norfolk OPP have determined the teen was operating the bike when they lost control and hit a tree.
The 14-year-old suffered life-altering injuries in the crash, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
