Londoners seeking transportation to Toronto will now have the option to travel by bus again.
Megabus.com has announced a brand new London to Toronto route in partnership with Badder Bus. Starting Thursday, the new service will operate seven days a week, offering two trips per day in each direction.
Busses will depart from the Flying J Travel Centre in London, and will arrive at the Union Station bus terminal in Toronto. One-way trips start at $24.99 per person.
"Whether you're planning a short trip or now seeing a new commuter option, we're bringing you better travel this summer," a tweet from Megabus.com said.
In May, Greyhound Canada shut down all remaining bus routes within the province, leaving many travellers in the London area with less inexpensive options for travel to and from Toronto.
Megabus.com launched in the United Kingdom in 2003. In 2009, it expanded services to Canada in partnership with Coach Canada, offering travel busses between Toronto, Kingston and Montreal.
Tickets for the new route can be booked online at Megabus.com
