Police identify woman killed in multiple-vehicle crash in London

London police have now identified the woman who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in the city’s west end Thursday evening.

Police said 39-year-old Courtney Ovens of London was the passenger in one of the three vehicles involved in the crash.

At around 7:17 p.m. on July 8, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Wonderland Road and Springbank Drive for a collision involving three vehicles.

A 19-year-old woman also suffered serious injuries in the crash, while an 18-year-old male was treated for minor injuries.

Police officials said Ovens succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
