Book a London hotel stay, get $100

Visitors to London could find themselves with a little extra walking around money thanks to Tourism London.

The city-run agency has revised its 'stay a little longer' program and will now be handing out $100 VISA cards to people who book a minimum two-night stay at participating London hotels.

“Tourism is recognized as a key economic driver in the City of London and particularly as we look towards recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Natalie Wakabayashi, director of culture and entertainment tourism at Tourism London. “We piloted a program like this in the fall of 2020 with great results. This revised version is more robust and focuses on driving recovery across multiple business sectors as guests are encouraged to eat, drink, shop and play in London with their $100 VISA cards.”

The VISA cards will be geo-targeted so they can only be used at businesses within the city.

The program will run until the end of November.
