London police say they have identified a woman alleged to have been involved in an attack in a city park earlier this month that sent one person to hospital.
A woman was walking in Ivey Park off of Thames Street around 3:45 p.m. on June 5 when she was assaulted by another woman, police said.
The woman suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in hospital.
According to police, the two women were not known to each other.
On Thursday, police released images of the suspect from video captured by a witness to the assault. They asked for the public's help in identifying her. A few hours later, police announced that a suspect has been identified.
Anyone who has information about this incident or recognizes the woman in the photo is asked to call police at 519- 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
