London police are asking for the public's help in locating a man alleged to have been involved in a drive-by shooting over the weekend.
According to police, several witnesses observed a man in a vehicle fire a shotgun in the direction of a 45-year-old man in the area of Boullee Street south of Cheapside Street sometime Saturday morning.
Officers say they were not made aware of the incident until later that day when they responded to a disturbance in the area at around 1:20 p.m.
Investigators patrolled the area and found evidence that a firearm was discharged. Police say no one called to report the shooting and there were no reported injuries. The shooter and the victim are said to be known to one another.
Police have since issued a warrant for 30-year-old Jack Corey Nguyen of London. He is wanted for several offences including discharging a firearm with intent to wound or endanger life, unauthorized possession of a firearm, occupying a vehicle with a firearm, and failing to comply with a release order.
Anyone with information regarding Nguyen's whereabouts is asked to contact London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
