Norfolk OPP are turning to the public for help in identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting two girls at a swimming pond in Delhi.
The young women were sitting at the pond on William Street around 7 p.m. last Thursday when they were approached by three adults. As two of the adults swam nearby, the third continued to talk with the girls. It is during this time the man is alleged to have sexually assaulted them.
The man is described as Black, approximately 30-years-old. He was wearing a black hat, white tank top, grey pants, and was carrying a blue bag.
A photo of the suspect was released to the public on Tuesday.
Police are also hoping to speak with the two other adults who were at the swimming pond at the time.
One is described as a woman, Caucasian, approximately 30 to 40-years-old, with bright red shoulder length hair, wearing an orange coloured dress. The other is described as a male, Caucasian, approximately 30 to 40-years-old, heavier set with strawberry blonde receding hair, and a long strawberry blond beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt, navy hoodie and swim shorts.
