Police seize nearly $200K in fentanyl, cocaine

Three people are facing charges after a police raid involving two London homes turned up $198,500 worth of fentanyl and cocaine and two loaded handguns.

London police searched the homes on Arbour Glen Crescent and North Centre Road, as well as three vehicles, Sunday afternoon. Officers seized 422 grams of fentanyl, 719 grams of cocaine, a loaded Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun, a loaded Glock 9mm handgun, a bullet-proof vest, and digital scales.

Approximately $50,000 in cash was also found during the searches.

Two Londoners, aged 20 and 25, and a 25-year-old from Mississauga have been charged with 16 offences including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm, and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.

All three will appear in London court in relation to the charges at a later date.
