Provincial police in Oxford County say one person has died following a crash on Highway 19 in Salford.
OPP say they responded to a collision on Plank Line [Highway 19] between Salford Road and McBeth Road shortly after 2 p.m. Friday.
Early reports indicate that an SUV and a dump truck collided head-on during the crash, resulting in one of the drivers being pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released by police.
Highway 19 between Salford Road and McBeth Road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
