Active case of COVID-19 confirmed at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School

On Sunday, the Thames Valley District School Board confirmed an active case of COVID-19 at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School.

There are currently two active cases that have been identified at the school as of Sunday.

All staff, parents, and guardians of the school communities were immediately notified. Meanwhile, the Health Unit is investigating to identify close contacts and follow up directly to provide specific testing advice.

Only those who are considered to be at risk have been notified to stay home from school and quarantine for 14 days. If you do not receive a letter from the school board, your child is not considered to be at risk.
