London police seek hit and run suspect

Police say a truck involved in a hit and run caused quite a mess in east London late Friday afternoon.

At around 4:45 p.m. emergency crews were called to Hale Street and Brydges Street for a crash after a pickup truck allegedly hit multiple vehicles and trees before fleeing the area.

A driver of one of the vehicles in the intersection during the ordeal was transported to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

After a description was provided to officers, they determined the truck had been reported stolen. A short time later, the suspect vehicle described as a black 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 was found abandoned on Foxbar Road near Wellington Road.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has information on a possible suspect is asked to contact police at 519-661-5670.
