Townhouse fire that caused $1M in damage still under investigation

London police are again appealing to the public for information into a suspicious townhouse fire late last month.

First responders were called to Bonaventure Drive and Admiral Drive shortly before 6 a.m. February 27.

Police later said that multiple units were affected and that damage was estimated at $1 million.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Million said the occupants were lucky to get out of their residences safely.

“While the investigation is active and ongoing, we are committed to finding those criminally responsible for setting the fire. Someone knows something, and we are asking anyone who has any information to do the right thing and contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
