It was determined that a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle travelling eastbound on Vittoria Road.

As a result, the 37-year-old Norfolk County resident suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital and then air lifted by Ornge to a Hamilton hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
