Thankfully no one was injured during a stubborn fire at a home north of Oxford Street East Friday afternoon.
According to the London Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the home on Sterling Street at around 3 p.m. The residents inside the home were able to exit safely before firefighters arrived.
Fire officials spent some time on the property conducting an overhaul to douse additional hot spots. Fire investigators along with London police are working on the scene to determine a cause.
Damages are estimated at $300,000.
