House hit by early morning gunfire

London police are investigating after gunshots rang out in two separate spots in the city Tuesday morning.

The sound of gunshots was first heard on Marconi Boulevard south of Trafalgar Street around 3:40 a.m. Officers arrived on scene and found evidence that a gun had been fired in the area.

Less than an hour later, police got a second call about gunshots being heard, this time in the area of Rectory and Walker streets. It was quickly determined that the window of a home had been hit with gunfire.

No injuries have been reported and no weapons found in either incident.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to call them at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
