A collision in southeast London that claimed the life of a local journalist has resulted in a charge being laid.
The January 6 collision on Bradley Avenue near Jackson Road killed 39-year-old Sarah Jones, who was the managing editor of Business London Magazine. According to police, her vehicle collided with a transport truck which then overturned.
Jones had to be cut from the wreckage and rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police announced Friday that a charge of dangerous driving causing death has been laid against 36-year-old Christopher James Hamilton of London.
He is to appear in court May 11, 2021.
