The snowy start to the day Friday has led to a number of school bus cancellations in the London region.
School buses in Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin counties and the Red Zone have been cancelled for the day Friday, according to MyBigYellowBus.ca. The bus cancellations come as roads are snow-covered and slippery. A system packing between 5 to 10 cm moved across southwestern Ontario late Thursday night. While cleanup from that is underway, roads remain hazardous to navigate.
All schools within the Thames Valley and London District Catholic school boards will be open.
School vehicles in the City of London will operate as usual Friday.
