London is getting an iconic Hard Rock Hotel.
The global brand, in partnership with Dora Hotel Company and The Cribbage Group, announced plans Friday to build a 353-room hotel at 100 Kellogg Lane - the site of the former Kellogg's plant in east London.
"This property will provide a multitude of local attractions and unique on-property activities sure to create lasting memories for all who visit," Todd Hricko, SVP of Hotel Development at Hard Rock International, said in a statement.
In addition to a gym and spa, the hotel will feature other Hard Rock amenities such as the "sound of your stay" program which provides guests with an in-room vinyl player, a guitar amp and headphones for jam sessions, and curated playlists to stream or download.
Construction of the hotel will be done in two-phases with the first 163-rooms slated to open in late 2022. Work on the remaining rooms will be completed by 2025.

There is no doubt this hotel will be a game changer for Canadians and those traveling from around the globe to Ontario for this Hard Rock Hotel experience," said Tim Dora, President of The Dora Hotel Company.
The company has also stated it intends to preserve the "historical aspects" of the site which will add to its overall atmosphere and charm.
Hard Rock Hotel is the latest of a growing number of businesses to make the move to the over 20,000 square foot property. Popular indoor entertainment park The Factory, Powerhouse Brewery, Paradigm Spirits, The Canteen, the Club House, and the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame already call 100 Kellogg Lane home. The London Children's Museum will also be moving to the site.
