An SUV driver was lucky to walk away from a serious crash that left their vehicle pinned between a truck and the concrete median on Highway 401 just outside of London.
The two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes between Westchester Bourne and Dorchester Road around 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The SUV came to rest on an angle with two wheels sitting on top of the median and its front end destroyed. A commercial truck has the vehicle wedged against the median.
"While we are happy to report that no one was injured, this shows how fast something bad can happen. Be careful," Middlesex OPP tweeted from the scene.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
