Provincial police are looking for suspects in an armed home invasion in Delhi that left one person with minor injuries.
A group of four or five people tried to force their way into a home on Main Street around 12:45 a.m. last Monday. As residents of the home tried to prevent the group from getting inside one of the suspects fired a gun.
The group then took off from the home in two different vehicles - a gold or silver car similar to a Chrysler 300 and a dark coloured vehicle.
One of the residents suffered minor injuries while running from the home.
The incident was not reported to Norfolk OPP until last Friday.
Police are now asking anyone who may have surveillance footage of the suspects or the two vehicles used to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
The incident serves as a reminder to the public to always be extremely vigilant when any stranger arrives at your home, OPP said.
