The fast actions of the Woodstock Fire Department helped save two young people from icy waters on Sunday.
The fire department was called to Pittock Conservation Area after two youths fell through the ice.
Fire crews, along with the help of Woodstock police, were able to quickly deploy ice rescue equipment and bring the pair safely to paramedics.
The fire department in using the incident as a reminder for people to stay off the ice.
