St. Thomas police were called to a southwest-end home early Thursday night about a man in distress.
Police were told the man had a gun and the London police Emergency Response Unit was brought in to help defuse the situation.
After several hours of negotiations, the man was arrested without incident and a gun was seized.
They were produced during an intense storm last Saturday afternoon.
